Seagate had made even more room for your memories with the release of is latest external drives – the stylish One Touch SSD and One Touch SSD Special Edition.
They are not only functional – they can store and back up your data – but they also look great too with either black or white woven fabric of the One Touch SSD or the camouflage patterns (red, green, blue and white) of the One Touch SSD Special Edition.
And they are the size of a credit card and faster than regular portable hard drives.
Every single day, five billion people interact with stored data according to an IDC whitepaper with that number expected to jump to six billion by 2025 – that’s 75 per cent of the world population.
“We have more ways than ever to instantaneously consume content, driving the need to create, distribute and manage data efficiently,” said Jeff Fochtman, vice president of marketing for Seagate.
“Easily accessible, fast, and reliable digital storage is more important than ever, and our new One Touch SSDs deliver style, portability, and effortless performance.”
The One Touch drives have fast USB-C connectivity and offer a personalised on the go solution which allows users to store, edit and organise their data.
The drives are compatible with both Mac and Windows and offer transfer speeds of up to 40MB per second so you can transfer fast and also scroll through your files just as quickly.
The Seagate One Touch SSDs also come with Sync Plus software so they offer continuous back up while plugged in to make protecting your files and precious memories even easier.
The drives also come with a complimentary one-year subscription to Mylio Create – an app that can help you organise your photos as well as protect, edit and sync them across all your devices.
Customers who buy the Seagate One Touch SSDs can also enjoy two-months free membership to Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan so you can use Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
The Seagate One Touch SSDs are available in 500GB ($119) and 1TB ($229).
The One Touch SSD Special Edition will be available through online retailers including eBay at the end of October for $119 (500GB).
