Samsung has launched its new Galaxy Tab A8 which has a slim and lightweight design and packed with numerous features for learning, connecting and staying entertained anywhere.

The Galaxy Tab A8 has a 10.5-inch display that’s surrounded by slim bezels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It weighs just 508g and is just 6.9mm thick.

This gives the device an 80 per cent screen to body ratio so it’s ideal for streaming your favourite shows, playing games or catching up with a video call.

Also onboard the Galaxy Tab A8 is a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos so users will be immersed even further into their movies and games.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, which is available in either wi-fi or 4G LTE versions, also includes Samsung TV Plus which offers more than 200 free channels so users can enjoy live and on-demand entertainment.

The Galaxy Tab A8 also comes with two months of ad-free YouTube premium so you can watch all your favourite videos without any interruptions.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab A8 is powered by an octa core 2Ghz processor and updated GPU and CPU to provide improved performance so users can enjoy faster and smoother performance across the board.

This latest model of the Galaxy Tab A8 is now available with either 3GB or 4GB RAM along with a 7040mAh battery with up to 15W fast charging.

Customers can also now choose from storage capacities including 32GB, 64GB or the new 128GB as well as take advantage of the microSD card slot feature to increase capacity by up to 1TB.

The Galaxy Tab A8 has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera along with a brand-new screen recorder feature so you can record clear videos of tutorials, lectures or your favourite game.

This feature also lets you record your voice along with the screen so it’s perfect for making notes or creating demonstration videos.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 will be available in grey, silver and new pink gold and will go on sale in January 2022. Pricing has yet to be announced.
