New LG gram laptops offer style and performance – and can extend your display
We already know LG make amazing OLED TVs, but the company has also entered the premium laptop space with its sleek 2022 LG gram range which combine style with functionality.
The LG gram laptops are aimed at a wide range of users and have a compact lightweight design but without compromising performance.
The LG laptops have an ultra-thin bezel with a high screen-to-body ratio so all you’re seeing is the display.
They LG gram offers impressive picture quality with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 2560 x 1600 resolution so your images and videos look sharp and bright.
The screens also offer 99 per cent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space and plenty of room for users to work and be entertained.
The LG IPS (in-plane switching) display is also anti-glare so you don’t get any distracting reflections so you’re able to keep on working in any lighting conditions.
There are six new models in the line-up including one new LG gram 17-inch, three new LG gram 16-inch units and two new LG gram 14-inch models.
Also available from LG is the View+ – a portable 16-inch monitor with detachable cover that connects to the LG gram via USB-C to allow users to extend their desktop.
Each LG gram laptop is powered by the 12th Generation Intel Core processor and has been upgraded to the latest Gen 4 NVMe SSD and low voltage LPDDR5 RAM.
Users will notice a significant performance boost when compared to last year’s models.
The LG laptops are also Intel Evo Platform-certified which means they offer long all-day battery life to give users the freedom to work anywhere for extended periods.
On the security side, the LG gram laptops have LG Glance by Mirametrix, which locks the screen automatically if you step away from the device.
It can even alert the user blur the content of their screen if someone is looking at their screen from over their shoulder.
Also on board is a full HD webcam and noise cancelling microphones so you can enjoy high quality video conferences.
