The new ASUS Zenbook Duo – the world’s first 14-inch Dual-Screen OLED laptop – can now be pre-ordered ahead of its release on February 14.
Priced from $3,999, the ASUS Zenbook Duo will be available through the ASUS eShop and JB Hi-Fi and other participating retailers.
The product has an eye-catching design thanks to its dual 14-inch 3K 120Hz OLED displays and detachable Bluetooth keyboard.
The ASUS Zenbook Duo can be used like a regular laptop with one 14-inch display visible and the Bluetooth keyboard attached to the lower half, in dual screen mode with two 14-inch displays one above the other with the wireless detachable keyboard resting on the desktop and in desktop mode with users combining the dual screens to create a 19.8-inch workspace.
DUAL SCREEN MODE
Used with the wireless keyboard the screens can be combined for a larger single 19.8-inch display with the ViewMax feature or with the two 16:10 screens with easy window management with the App Switcher feature.
DESKTOP MODE
The laptop can be arranged with the hinge positioned vertically for side by side portrait screens to offers an ideal scenario for researchers, writers, programmers and anyone who needs to access large data worksheets and documents.
Alternatively the users can choose to use the ViewMax feature and combine both screens for a single 19.8-inch workspace.
LAPTOP MODE
The ASUS ErgoSense Bluetooth keyboard and touchpad can be attached on top of the lower 14-inch OLED display for a regular laptop experience for those times when you need to work on the go or in smaller workspaces.
The keyboard is automatically recharged when attached via the pogo-pin connector.
In this mode, users can also choose to transform the lower screen into a large virtual keyboard.
SHARING MODE
The 180-degree hinge allows the laptop to rest flat to make it easier for all to see the screen without huddling around a single smaller screen.
Content on the upper screen can also be rotated 180-degress to make it easier for all to see the screen in a group.
The ASUS Zenbook Duo is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor with integrated AI acceleration and Windows Copilot.
And the whole thing weighs just 1.35kg.
The dual OLED display are joined with a 180-degree hinge so it can be opened out completely flat to maximise the usable screen real estate.
The screens are Dolby Vision certified and Pantone validated with cinema grade 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut so they have some serious punch with accurate and bright colour.
The onboard ambient light sensor allows the laptop to automatically adjust to your surroundings and adjust the brightness and colour temperature to suit.
The touchscreen can also support the optional 4096 pressure-level ASUS Pen and the included ScreenXpert software to offer smartphone-like multitouch gestures.
ASUS has also created an AI-powered product with the Zenbook Duo as customers bring AI into their daily workflow.
To back that power is the Intel Core Ultra processors with Intel’s first integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) – a dedicated engine to unlock the capabilities of AI and place them right at your fingertips.
The NPU offers low-latency AI computing while accelerating multitasking and efficiency.
This makes the ASUS Zenbook Duo an ideal partner for work and play.
The laptop is also built with endurance in mind and is made from sturdy recycled materials.
It has been durability tested to US military 810H standards. It also includes Corning Gorilla Glass.
The ASUS Zenbook Duo is made from 90 per cent post-industrial recycled magnesium aluminium alloy.
