Tesla is taking its upcoming Model 3 electric car on a national tour after a successful showcase in its retail stores for reservation holders in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
It was so popular some locations had more than a two hour wait to see the vehicle.
But from this week until early January, the Model 3 will be showcased at key Westfield locations across Australia’s east coast.
This will allow the wider public to see the Model 3 up close along with either the current Model S or Model X.
The Tesla Powerwall will also be on show to educate customers about the benefits of energy storage and electric vehicle ownership with zero compromises.
Here are the dates and Westfield locations where customers can see the Tesla Model 3 up close:
– Garden City 15th October – 28th October
– Doncaster 5th November – 18th November
– Chatswood 26th November – 9th December
– Doncaster 24th December – 6th January
Westfield, apart from hosting the Model 3 tour, will also be installing destination chargers in many of it centres around Australia to allow Tesla owners to charge while they’re shopping or watching a movie.
There are already more than 600 destination chargers around Australia in hotels, resorts, shopping centres and car parks.
Tesla’s Supercharging network is also growing with new locations opening at major regional centres and tourist destinations that will allow Tesla drivers to travel long distances.
