skyfall3Skyfall, the latest and most successful Bond film of all time, will be available to buy this week on Blu-ray and DVD after dominating the world box office.

The 23rd instalment in the Bond series – the world’s longest running film franchise – stars Daniel Craig as James Bond and is directed by Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes.

Skyfall was the highest grossing Bond film ever and was nominated for five Oscars and won one for Best Original Song with Adele’s Skyfall.

The 23rd instalment in the Bond series – the world’s longest running film franchise – stars Daniel Craig as James Bond and is directed by Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes.

Skyfall was the highest grossing Bond film ever and was nominated for five Oscars and won one for Best Original Song with Adele’s Skyfall.

The Skyfall Blu-ray takes viewers behind the scenes with more then three hours of extra features which look at every aspect of the production from the opening sequence through to the women, the villains, locations and end sequence.

Skyfall is available on Blu-ray and DVD this week.

There are also audio commentaries by director Sam Mendes and producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Brocolli and production designer Dennis Gassner.

Tech Guide also had a chance to sit down with Oscar-winning visual effect supervisor Chris Corbould who has been working on Bond films since The Spy Who Loved Me.

Corbould, who won an Oscar for his work on the Christopher Nolan film Inception, told us about the work he has done on Bond sets going back more than 30 years.
