Sony releases powerful new X Series Bluetooth speakers that produce a big sound

Sony has released three new versions of its X Series of powerful wireless speakers – the SRS-XP700, SRS-XP500 and SRS-XG500 – which offers wide sound that performs well whether you’re inside or out.

The Sony X Series are versatile speakers that can match your style and your needs with a wide choice of sound quality, portability, durability and lighting.

Each of the speakers feature Sony’s X-Balanced Speaker Units and the non-circular speakers provide more sound pressure and less distortion by maximising the area of the diaphragm – and that results in a richer, clearer sound.

The Sony XP700 has three front high efficiency tweeters and one rear efficiency tweeter omnidirectional party sound with a solid level of bass.

The XP500 and XG500 also have two front high-efficiency tweeters which combine for a powerful party sound.

The XG500 also packs in passive radiators which produce a nice level of bass.

Mega Bass is another feature that helps dial up the bass on the new Sony speakers while Live Sound can recreate the unique sound and atmosphere of a concert.

These versatile speakers can be positioned vertically or horizontally. On the XP700 a sensor will optimise the audio to suit the orientation.

And not only do the speakers sound good, they also look great as well when they are putting on light show in time with your music.

The lightning can be adjusted to be either energetic for your party of soothing if you’re kicking back on your own.

Apart from streaming content via Bluetooth from your mobile device, you can also use the onboard USB ports which can not only charge your other devices but also play your favourite music from a USB drive.

Sony XG500

The new XG500 has an IP66 rating which means it is water resistant so you can take the party outdoors without any worries.

The three new speakers – the SRS-XP700, SRS-XP500 and SRS-XG50 – also have a long lasting battery but even when it’s time to power up again, they all have fast charging.

Also onboard is Battery Care Mode which stops the speaker reaching 100 per cent charge to increase the life span of the battery.

The speakers all have a carry handle (they’re portable remember?) so you can take your music with you anywhere, inside and out.

If you’re a fan of karaoke, the new Sony speakers have got you covered. They speakers have microphone inputs and a guitar input so you can really ramp up the entertainment.

And if you really want to ramp up the speed, you can take advantage of the Party Connect feature which allows users to connect up to 100 compatible speakers and also sync the lights with the music.

The Sony X Series speakers will be available in June and priced at:

SRS-XP700 – $699.00

SRS-XP500 – $499.00

SRS-XG500 – $629.00
