Hisense has expanded its range of soundbars for 2022 with the launch of the U5120G which has Dolby Atmos onboard and includes 12 speakers and a subwoofer to take your audio to the next level.

Unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the Hisense U512OG Dolby Atmos soundbar creates a field of surround sound that appears to be coming from every direction including from above you.

The unit, which will be priced at $799, includes upfiring speakers to provide the sound above while the side firing speakers simulate a wider sound stage.

Later in the year Hisense will also be releasing wireless rear speakers that can be added to the U512OG to add even more precision and detail to the sound.

“Australians are increasingly seeking to enhance their at-home entertainment experience, so we are thrilled to be expanding our local Sound Bar offering here to continue delivering our customers the very best in audio,” said Nick Peters, Head of Marketing at Hisense Australia.

“At Hisense, we pride ourselves on the innovation and quality that we build into our TV range – big and small – so when our customers are looking to create a cinema-like experience in their own homes, audio should equally not be overlooked. Our premium range of Sound Bars ensure this critical element of the overall experience is never compromised.”

Dolby Atmos audio technology can now be found across the Hisense range including the 2022 TriChroma Laser Cinema, ULED and mini-LED TVs.

The company believes a complete entertainment experience requires not only great picture quality but also superb audio quality to go with it.

“Customers demand not only the best in visual quality, but the ability to match that with exceptional audio too. The performance and demand for Hisense products continues to grow and the extension of our Sound Bar range reflects this by offering consumers an exceptional selection of options to suit every budget,” Peters said.
