When you think of Denon you immediately think of quality audio and the brand has delivered that once again with its Home range of smart wireless speakers.

The Denon Home 150, 250 and 350 are an impressive family of speakers that are designed to appeal to a wide cross-section of customers.

These speakers can be connected by your home’s wi-fi or directly to your device via Bluetooth.

The speakers also have an Ethernet port to connect directly to your home’s broadband with a cable.
The superb onboard acoustics have been developed to offer impressive detail and bold audio authority and is the result of 110 years of the company’s sound innovation.

Each of the speakers in the Home family have expertly tuned digital signal processing and bespoke drivers for remarkable clarity and stunning bass.

The speakers also have HEOS technology built-in which can control the speakers and group them and manage them in your home if you want to set up a wireless speaker system in your home.

Each speaker can be linked through your home’s wi-fi to the HEOS app (free to download on the App Store and Google Play Store) which then allows you to name the device’s location.

Speakers can then be played individually or in groups.

The app can also link your favourite music streaming services including Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, Amazon Music, Deezer and Tidal.

Also on board the Denon Home speakers Apple Airplay 2 which allows you to stream Apple Music wirelessly to the Denon speakers and group with any other AirPlay 2 compatible speakers to create a wider sound.

The speakers can play MP3, WAV, AAC and WMA files along with high-res files like FLAC ALAC (192kHz/24 bit) as well as DSD 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz tracks.

Listeners can play music via Bluetooth, through the USB port or shared through your homes network.

The HEOS app also allows users to optimise the sound on the speakers as well.

When connected, the app will ask you how the speaker is positioned in the room – whether it’s near a wall or in a corner – so that it can provide the best possible outcome for your audio.

Each of the speakers have capacitive buttons on top of the unit which illuminate as soon as your hand approaches thanks to the built-in proximity sensors.

The buttons only light up when you need them so it doesn’t spoil the ambience of the room or take your attention away from the music.

There are also three Quick Select buttons which allow you to create a shortcut to your favourite Internet radio stations.

It’s also possible to group two Denon home speakers together and create a stereo pair with one playing the left channel and the other playing the right.

And they don’t just sound good they’re also smart and they can be controlled via your smartphone with Google Assistant or through Amazon Alexa through the HEOS Home Entertainment skill from the Alexa app.
