Belkin partners with Devialet to release Soundform Elite smart speaker with wireless charger

Belkin has partnered with high end audio brand Devialet to create the Soundform Elite Hi-Fi Smart Speaker – a wireless speaker that’s also a wireless charger.

Unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the device combines premium audio high fidelity sound with fast wireless charging to charge your mobile devices.

This heralds the start of an all-new audio product portfolio for Belkin which also brings to the table its expertise in wireless charging solutions.

“Our heritage in audio, leadership in fast wireless charging, and Devialet’s acoustic expertise allow us to make products for consumers that are both exceptional and convenient.”

Devialet offers acoustic experience and audio technologies that has made it a premium brand with more than 160 patents.

The Soundform Elite includes Devialet’s patented SAM (speaker active matching), a technology that can recreate the content creator’s original intentions with high fidelity sound reproduction.

Also under the hood are Push Push woofers which are configured opposite each other to cancel each other’s vibrations to result in a deep satisfying bass sound.

On the charging side, the Soundform Elite offers Qi-enabled devices up to 10W.

Belkin has yet to announce pricing and a release date.
