Samsung is literally changing the shape of popular smartphones with the introduction of its latest foldable line-up: the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, the Z Fold8, and the Z Flip8 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in London.
The event saw the introduction of the Galaxy Z Fold8, an all-new form factor to offer a new foldable experience to support how people consume content, create content and discover the world around them.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 reveal follows weeks of Samsung teasing a new shape, which has now materialised into the passport-shaped foldable device.
Also introduced was the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra which takes foldable devices to even greater heights. And it’s all housed in a thinner and lighter chassis with an even larger battery.
And the Galaxy Z Flip8 is thinner than ever before to make it even easier for users to express themselves and to capture moments on the move.
The new Samsung foldable devices are available for pre-order from July 23 and will officially go on sale on August 14.
All of Samsung’s new foldable devices feature the new Flex Titanium display technology which offers greater strength and durability while delivering an even more immersive viewing experience.
Galaxy AI is also front and centre across all these new foldable devices and has been optimised for each individual form factor to provide more ways to find information and boost your efficiency and creativity.
“As AI becomes more agentic, mobile devices will become the most personal entry point to experiences that understand and adapt to each user,” said TM Roh, Chief Executive Officer, President and Head of the Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics.
“By setting a new standard for foldables, we are once again advancing the premium mobile experience and opening the next era of intelligence to more people.”
