Tech Guide got a chance to take a first look at Roborock’s new range of robot lawnmowers at IFA 2025 in Berlin.
The company has taken the smarts of its robot vacuums outside to tackle your lawn.
There are three new robot mowers in the range – the RockMow Z1, the RockMow S1 and the RockMow Neo Q1.
The RockMow Z1 looks like a miniature Tesla Cybertruck.
The Roborock stand in Berlin included an area meant to look like a grass yard complete with slopes and obstacles and pets to demonstrate the abilities of the new RockMow range.
Like their robot vacuum counterparts, the Roborock robot mowers have onboard cameras and built-in GPS so they can find their way around your yard without the need for a boundary wire or beacons.
In fact, it uses AI for smart mapping so the Roborock robot mowers will never wander with there not supposed to.
The robot models have also inherited several features from the robot vacuum range including obstacle avoidance so you can be sure your pets and other objects in the yard are safe and sound.

The mowers feature a dynamic suspension system which keeps the blades stable for consistent cutting.
The Roborock RockMow units have all-wheel drive which means they can clear obstacles up to six centimetres high and handle slopes up to 38.7-degrees.
This makes them ideal for Australian yards which are large and rugged.
Each of the mowers have an active steering system so they can perform smooth turns and protect your lawn from damage.
Under the hood, the Roborock mowers have RTK and VSLAM technology which combine to deliver accurate navigation even in shaded areas and narrow passages.
There are six heavy duty and durable blades that can cut through thick and tough Australian grass with ease.
Also available with the units is the PreciEdge blade system which can trim within 3cm of walls and edges so it can do the whole job in your yard.
The Roborock lawn mowers can cover 1000 square metres a day.
Pricing has yet to be announced for the Roborock RockMow units which are expected to arrive in Australia in early 2026.
