Netgear’s new Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 6 offers the ultimate network for small businesses

It’s one thing to have great wi-fi at home but also equally important to have the same quality for your business and that’s exactly what you can get with Netgear’s new Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 6 mesh wi-fi system.

Netgear, one of the leading providers of networking products, has launched the Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 6 (SXK80) Tri-band Mesh System that’s designed for businesses large and small.

It is an industry-leading tri-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) multi-node mesh system which can adapt and grow to fit with small businesses and home offices as their needs for consistent network coverage increases.

There is a single router and satellite in the package but this can be expanded to support up to six satellites (wireless nodes).

Onboard is the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology which offers faster speeds and increased data capacity which can be used by your employees, customers and guests in small business and office environments.

This has never been more important at a time when many businesses are being operated remotely.

Security is also front and centre with this latest member of the Orbi family with the latest wi-fi data security standard WPA3 along with four SSIDs.

Users can manage the system through the Insight remote management solution from any location and without the added expense of needing a separate IT department.

The Insight app makes it easy to install the advanced wi-fi network and create separate and isolated wi-fi channels for employees, guests and administrative purposes.

This latest Netgear product can also support hospitality and service-based industries like restaurants, cafes, bars and retail outlets, medical offices, professional services and small educational centres.

With support for up to six satellites, the Netgear Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 6 can cover up to 1,700 square metres (18,000 square feet) and with Wi-Fi 6 you can get up to four times the capacity to support more connections than the original Orbi Pro product.

With that sort of speed and coverage, the Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 6 creates workspaces that can handle multiple video conferencing streams, large files transfers, smart products and security devices.

The Netgear Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 6 has a dedicated quad-stream Wi-Fi 6 backhaul, OFDMA and MU-MIMO (Multiple User- Multiple Input Multiple Output) so customers receive the highest performance.

There is also robust wired connectivity from the 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports on the router and each satellite.

With the Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 6 Mesh System network, customers and employees will have access to the best wi-fi with higher speeds, less congestion, greater device density, and increased battery life for Wi-Fi 6 smartphones, tablets and laptops.

Advanced management features include:

– 1-Year Insight subscription included with Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 6

– Instant discovery and setup of your Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 6

– Remote monitoring and management of your Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 6 through the Insight app

– Single pane-of-glass multi-device, multi-network, and multi-site remote monitoring and notifications

The Netgear Orbi Pro Wi-Fi 6 Tri-band Mesh System (SXK80) is available in Australia and New Zealand now and is priced at $1,499 AUD and $1,649 NZD.

The single add-on satellite (SXS80) will be available by Q3 in Australia and New Zealand and will be priced at $799 AUD and $859 NZD.
