Netflix will launch in Australia on March 31 with a three-tier pricing system that will start at $9.99 a month.
This date and pricing was confirmed by a Tech Guide source during the International Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas.
Netflix, which is also present at CES, were tight-lipped about any details about the Australian service.
We attended a briefing with Netflix yesterday and they refused to answer any specific questions about the Australian service including the launch date and pricing structure.

Netflix were busy defusing what turned out to be a false story that they were kicking Australians who’d joined the US service through a VPN (virtual private network) to fool the geo-blocking feature off the service.
The imminent launch of the hugely popular content subscription service is already making huge waves in the Australian TV market.
Existing subscription services like Presto and Pay TV provider Foxtel are already bracing themselves for the arrival of Netflix with value offerings and the promise of fresh and exclusive content.
Netflix revealed its hit original series Marco Polo – which follows the famed explorers exploits in the 13th Century – will return for a 10-episode second season.
Netflix also announced the premiere dates of more original series that will be available globally in all territories where the service is available.
