Samsung confirms launch date for Galaxy S23 flagship smartphone range
Samsung has confirmed it will be unveiling its latest flagship S23 range of smartphones in San Francisco on February 1 (February 2 in Australia) at its first full-scale Galaxy Unpacked launch event since 2020.
The company released a short teaser video with the tagline – get ready to share the epic.
In February last year, Samsung launched the S22 range – including the S22 Ultra with S Pen – to huge success with pre-orders setting new records for the electronics giant.
Most of the Galaxy S23 rumours point to a similar model line-up as the S22 with mainly processor and camera improvements.
The biggest whisper doing the rounds is that the S23 Ultra will include a 200-megapixel main camera thanks to a brand-new sensor.
On the design, the S23 and S23+ will reportedly have as similar rear-panel and camera layout as the S23 Ultra.
The event will be held on February 1 at 10am (US PST time) which will be 5am on February 2 AEDT.
Pre-orders will be expected to kick off on Friday, February 3, 2023, with the release date likely to be two weeks later on February 17, 2023.
