Modern technology gives us many things.

PlayStation 5 Pro is now available to deliver an enriched gaming experience

The PlayStation 5 Pro console is now on sale with the promise of taking your gaming to the next level.

Tech Guide has just received the PS5 Pro and it has a slick design that’s noticeably smaller than the original PS5.

It has an impressive polished outer shell and can be rested either on its side or on a stand (available as extra cost).

The PS5 Pro is priced at $1199.95 and has a range of new features to enrich your gaming experience.

Under the hood is a 2TB solid state drive and it includes a single DualSense wireless controller.

The PS5 Pro offers another level of computing power which gives game creators even room to move when creating new and richer experiences and really take advantage of the powerful hardware and system architecture.

The PS5 Pro has an upgraded CPU that offers 67 per cent more compute units than the current PlayStation 5 console along with 28 per cent faster memory.

That means a 45 per cent per cent increase in rendering speed for gameplay so games run faster and smoother.

PS5 Pro has advanced ray tracing for more dynamic reflection and refraction of light at double the speed of the current PS5 console.

Naturally there is AI onboard, and it will do the heavy lifting when it comes to driving upscaling thanks to a new machine learning-based technology called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution.

This can improve clarity and add a remarkable level of detail.

“We are proud of the impact that PS5 has made on the gaming industry, providing an opportunity for game creators to realise their vision and reach millions of players around the world,” said Hideaki Nishino, CEO, Platform Business Group, Sony Interactive Entertainment.

“But we’re always pushing ourselves to innovate so we can meet, and hopefully exceed, the evolving needs of our players.

“We’re pleased to offer PS5 Pro alongside the current PS5 console this holiday, and we look forward to seeing continued gameplay innovation from our talented game creators that unleash the possibilities of the PS5 hardware for years to come.”

There are a range of titles which will take advantage of the additional power offered by the PS5 Pro. And they will be labelled as “PS5 Pro Enhanced”.

These include blockbuster titles from PlayStation Studios and SIE’s partners like Alan Wake 2, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, Demon’s Souls, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Gran Turismo 7, Hogwarts Legacy, Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, The Crew Motorfest, The First Descendant, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, and more.

Games that are playable on the PS5 console can also be enjoyed on the PS5 Pro which has the same user interface.

Also on board is PS5 Pro Gamer Boost which means players have access to more than 8500 backward compatible PlayStation 4 games.

The PlayStation 5 Pro is available now and is priced at $1,199.95.
