Cat owners love their pets – until they bring home an unwanted gift like a dead mouse or a bird. With Flappie – that’s now a thing of the past.
Flappie is an intelligent catflap which can be fitted to your door and detects prey using an integrated camera, motion sensors and on-device AI built into the flap itself .
Cats love to wander the neighbourhood and many bring home something its killed.
But with Flappie, if it detects there is something in the cat’s mouth – like a bird or a mouse – the door won’t open.
The camera analyses the cat and if it sees something in its mouth it will refuse them entry like a bouncer at a nightclub turning away a drunk patron.
If the cat gets rid of the “gift” the door will magically open for them.
Flappie is available now to purchase from its website.
