We know smartglasses have been around for a while but we found even more at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas including a new pair from Halliday.
Included with the glasses is what the company is calling the world’s smallest display module which is just 3.6mm wide.
When you’re wearing the glasses and the display is up close to your eye each the equivalent of looking at a 3.5 inch screen and without it blocking what you’re looking at.
And the display is only visible only to the user offering complete privacy.
This means you are able For real time translations, to see notifications and access instant replies.
The holiday smartglasses could also be used as a teleprompter during presentations, meetings and interviews.
It could also be used to record audio for those times when you have to remember what was said.
The glasses also include a control ring so you can scroll through and navigate the device using your finger as well as create shortcuts for your most frequently used functions.
The Halliday smartglasses have been funded through Kickstarter and they are collecting deposits for customers who want to secure the final discounted price of $US369.
Shipping of the final product will begin in late March.
