There are many cases where we need to label things and the new Brother Desktop Label Printer PT-D610BT has got every scenario covered.
Just going through the templates aboard the Brother device you’ll discover there is room for more labels in our life.
There are obvious uses for labels like your child’s name on schoolbooks and belongings or for the things you need to store in containers in your pantry.
If you’re running a business or work in a busy office, there are countless options for labels.
The PT-D610BT is 20.2cm wide, 19.9cm long and 8.7cm tall and has a full keyboard and function keys.
The Desktop Label Printer can be connected to power, but you can also put in six AA alkaline batteries if you need to use it on the move.
There’s also a full colour 3.6-inch backlit display so you can clearly see the label you’ve created before you hit the print button.
It also has USB and Bluetooth connectivity so you can print from a computer or via your smartphone using the Brother iPrint & Label app.
Between the device itself and the app has many templates including asset management, for cables and name tags. There are even templates for COVID-19 to keep your distance, wash your hands and to keep your desk clean.
On your computer you can create and edit more elaborate designs and add things like QR codes, barcodes and other graphics and information you need on your label.
You can even print labels directly from Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook on your PC.
But the PT-D610BT has more than enough functionality and options on its own – including 17 built-in fonts, 160 decorative frames and 900 symbols to give you plenty of options of coming up with impressive labels.
The device uses fade resistant laminated labels that can handle heat, chemicals and water and once they’re stuck in place they’re not going anywhere.
You can also use different colour tapes along with different sizes.
It is compatible with 3.5mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm and 24mm tapes which can easily be inserted and removed via a latch at the top of the printer.
When printed the labels are cut precisely so the text and other information is centred on the label.
It’s possible to store up to 99 label templates – handy for those labels you print frequently.
If you think you don’t need a label maker – take a look at the Brother Desktop Label Printer PT-D610BT – you’ll be thinking of ways you can use it to organise yourself.
It is priced at $189.
