Apple Intelligence is coming to Apple Vision Pro and will unlock a range of AI-powered tools to use with the spatial computer when the visionOS 2.4 update is released in April.
Vision Pro will debut Apple Intelligence features like Writing Tools, Image Playground and Genmoji along with a new app called Spatial Gallery to view spatial videos, spatial images, panoramas from artist, photographers and filmmakers in one place.
The update will also be compatible for the new Apple Vision Pro app so users can download apps and games from the App Store and find new content from Apple TV and Spatial Gallery.
“Apple Vision Pro is helping users communicate, collaborate, and experience entertainment in entirely new ways — and we’re continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible in spatial computing with visionOS 2.4,” said Mike Rockwell, Apple’s vice president of the Vision Products Group.
“With Apple Intelligence, Vision Pro users will be able to take their productivity and creativity to new heights using features like Writing Tools, Image Playground, and Genmoji.
“And we’re excited for users to discover and share incredible new experiences with Spatial Gallery.”
Vision Pro offers a liberating new style of computing which allows users to complete their tasks as well as express and entertain themselves.
With the addition of Apple Intelligence users can now utilise Writing Tools which helps with rewriting, proofreading and summarising text.
Users also have access to ChatGPT to generate content and suggest ideas.
Image Playground offers a way to create illustrations using a text description while you can create your own unique emoji with Genmoji.
It will also be simpler to locate your specific images on the Vision Pro using Apple Intelligence by simply describing them.
visionOS 2.4 will also include priority messages in Mail, Mail summaries, priority notifications and notification summaries.
Spatial Gallery will be a new app with visionOS 2.4 that gathers a collection of photos, videos and panoramas curated by Apple to showcase on the Vision Pro which will span art, culture, entertainment, nature, sport and travel.
In April, Apple will release the Vision Pro app for iPhone with the iOS 18.4 update.
It will make it possible to queue apps and games to download and discover new content and experiences to enjoy on the headset.
The Guest User feature has also been improved with visionOS 2.4.
You can start a Guest User session with a nearby iPhone or iPad and mirror what they are seeing so you can guide them through the experience.
