Rode has released a new wireless microphone system – the Wireless Micro Camera Kit – which allows content creators to record pristine audio quality whether they’re using a camera or smartphone.
The new Wireless Micro Camera Kit builds on the success of Rode’s excellent wireless microphone range.
The kit includes two compact transmitters with built-in microphones and a sleek on-camera receiver with a 1.1 inch AMOLED display which makes it easy to configure settings on the go.
Rode has also included a smartphone receiver so users have the choice to shoot with their cameras or smartphones on the move.

The whole idea behind the product is to make capturing excellent audio as easy as possible whether you’re using your phone or a camera.
It offers universal camera connectivity thanks to the on-camera receiver which features both the 3.5mm TRS and a USB-C output which means you could easily pair it with a DSLR, mirrorless camera and more.
The interchangeable receiver options now include a USB-C smartphone receiver to give you the ultimate flexibility.
iPhone users can also connect via Bluetooth using the free Rode Capture app.
The mics offer omnidirectional pickup so sound is recorded from every angle while Intelligent GainAssist technology balances audio levels to free up the user from having to make any adjustments.
And the result is still perfectly clear audio even in a noisy environment.
