JBL has given Tech Guide a sneak peek at its latest flagship product – the Tour One M3 headphones – which deliver JBL’s signature high audio quality along with some compelling new features.
The JBL Tour One M3 headphones go on sale on July 1 and will be priced at $549.
We were given early access to the companion app which unlocks some features as well as helping you refine the excellent active noise cancellation and make other tweaks.
The headphones themselves are not too big but they have still made room for the solid 40mm Mica Dome drivers.
While we will post our complete review closer to the release date, we can tell you now that the sound quality is next level.
Listening via Bluetooth you can still enjoy superb audio quality but connect the USB-C cable from the headphones to your phone, tablet or computer and you’re getting the lush lossless quality that is now offered with music streaming services including Apple Music.
But JBL has cleverly taken a leaf out of the Tour Pro 3 True Wireless book and added the JBL Smart Tx audio transmitter which has a touchscreen display.
This gives users control over the headphones and helps you navigate your music but can also create a wireless connection to an audio source like the inflight entertainment system or stereo system.
This really breaks down the barrier of what you can connect and listen to.
The smart display is part of the Tour Pro 3 Wireless charging case and can also connect the earphones wirelessly to other sources.
The JBL True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 can turn the world around you off and give you a peaceful sanctuary.
The JBL Tour One M3 also offers listeners up to 70 hours of playback so they’ve easily got you covered for those long flights.
The JBL Tour One M3 will go on sale in Australia on July 1 and will be priced at $549.
They are available in black, mocha and blue.
Stay tuned to Tech Guide for our complete review of the JBL Tour One M3 headphones.
