Australian artists to perform in Apple’s iTunes Festival


itunes8festival1Australian artists Kylie Minogue and hit young band 5 Seconds of Summer will join an international line-up of artists at the annual iTunes Festival in London.

Apple announced the eight iTunes Festival would be kicking off in September with some of the world’s biggest musical artists.

The line-up will include Maroon 5, Pharrell Williams, Beck, Sam Smith, Blondie, Kylie, David Guetta, Calvin Harris and Chrissie Hynde.

Aussie performers Kylie Minogue and 5 Seconds of Summer will also be featured in the iTunes Festival alongside other performers playing every day at the iconic Roundhouse.

“It’s incredible for us that we get to play the iTunes Festival in September,” Aussie band 5 Seconds of Summer said.

“Even though we’re from Australia, we’re well aware what an iconic venue the Roundhouse is… and we’ve played enough square ones! Can’t wait to play there and be a part of the Festival” 

Performances from the iTunes Festival can be viewed each day live or on-demand on Apple iOS devices and or on iTunes on a computer.
