DYSON V11 CORD-FREE VACUUM – From $1,099

Dyson’s all-new V11 cord free vacuum boasts the most powerful suction of any cord free vacuum in the market. It’s even 20 per cent more powerful than last year’s Dyson Cyclone V10.

With the V11, Dyson has once again raised the bar and created a new machine that blends design, technology and performance into a single unit.

There are improvements across the board and Tech Guide was lucky enough to get our hands on the V11 ahead of its release.

Dyson says the V11 is the culmination of more than a decade of cord free vacuum and digital motor development which involved 315 engineers and more than 32,500 parts prototyped.

Design-wise, there are a few subtle differences between the V11 and the V10. Most of the changes are in the main motor and bin section.

ECOVACS DEEBOT OZMO 950 – $999

Vacuuming and mopping are those chores you hope someone else does. Or you can leave it up to the Ecovacs Deebot OZMO 950 which can now operate on multi-level homes.

No, it’s not going to climb the stairs on its own but the OZMO 950 can map more than a single level of your home and remember the fastest path to clean.

And it’s a vacuum and mop in one with improved suction to deliver a more thorough clean.

The unit is just 9.3cm high – one of the thinnest bodies you’ll find on a robot vacuum in this class – which means it can slip under furniture and beds on its rounds.

It also has numerous sensors and bumpers so it can thoroughly, yet gently, work its way around your home without damaging furniture or skirting boards.

Dyson has unveiled a new personal fan that can not only keep you cool but also purify the air around you at the same time.

The Dyson Pure Cool Me takes the company’s well-known air multiplier technology and shrinks it down to this smaller and more personal size.

The Dyson Pure Cool Me uses new Core Flow technology in this latest purifier which can sit on a bedside table, on the kitchen counter or on a desktop to cool anyone close by with purified air.

The product draws air in through the base and fires it upwards to the dome with two streams of air that collide on the convex surface to create a high-pressure core and project a single channel of air.
