Samsung has announced a partnership with Westpac, one of Australia’s major banks, to offer Samsung Pay to its credit card and debit cards customers to make payments on their smartphones on the move. Samsung Pay can be used with compatible products including the upcoming Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ as well as with the Gear S3 smartwatch. Android has overtaken Windows as the world’s most popular operating system for the first time when it comes to internet usage across desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile combined.
