Vaya announces Australia’s cheapest data-only plans for tablets and mobile hotspots

Our hunger for data to use on the move is growing rapidly and today Vaya has responded with some amazing 4G data-only deals that will put the pressure on rival telcos to match them.

The new plans from are powered by the Optus 4G network and start from as little as $15 a month with no lock in contracts to use with tablets and mobile hotspots.

Australian customers will have four plans to choose from including:

 – $15 for 5GB of data

– $35 for 15GB,

– $55 for 50GB

– $65 for 70GB

These plans are data only so they can’t be used with your smartphone for calling and texting.

These plans are for customers who want to connect their 4G tablet, a mobile hotspot and any other device that can take a data SIM.

And the good news is the Vaya data-only plans are backed by a Price Beat Guarantee which will not only match any rival pricing but also offer the next month for free.

“From streaming TV and YouTube videos to Spotify and social media, Aussies’ data use continues to rise, and we understand that nobody wants to be worrying about whether they’re about to hit their limit when they’re in the middle of a favourite activity,” said Jennifer Snell, marketing manager at Vaya.

“These plans offer wallet-conscious Aussies the peace of mind that goes with having data to spare for a really competitive cost, no matter what your budget or how you choose to use your device.”

These new Vaya data-only plans follow on from the company’s unlimited mobile phone plans from $16 a month which offer unlimited standard calls and texts and 1GB of data.
