Oppo has just launched the latest device in its Reno series – the Reno Z – which is a more affordable device yet offering innovative features and a flagship design.
The device has inherited a number of high-end features found in the more expensive Reno 10x Zoom and Reno 5G smartphones.
Priced at just $499, the Reno Z has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a screen to body ratio of 92 per cent.
Also on board is a 48-megapixel rear camera with Ultra Night Mode 2.0 which enables impressive night-time photography.
The powerful AI chip and noise reduction algorithm allows the Reno Z to intelligently recognise different scenarios and optimise brightness and colour to produce the best possible image.
The Oppo Reno Z can also shoot 4K video.
Your selfies will look better than ever thanks to the 32-megapixel ultra high definition front camera that also includes a selfie optimisation algorithm which can improve backlit images and produce stunning results.
The device has 128GB of internal memory and 8GB RAM and is running the Android 9.0 operating system.
The latest generation of Oppo’s user interface – ColorOS 6 – is also on board and includes Smart Riding Mode, Swipe-up Gesture Navigation and Smart Assistant.
Gamers will benefit with Game Boost 2.0 which can optimise latency and refresh rate to improve your mobile gaming experience.
On the audio side, the Reno Z delivers Dolby Atmos for cinema quality sound right there on the smartphone.
The devices stereo speakers use the phone’s receiver as a secondary speaker to give you the full stereo effect so you can hear impressive audio quality without the need to pair an external speaker.
The Oppo has VOOC 3.0 fast charging which can quickly recharge the devices 4,035mAh battery.
The Oppo Reno Z, available in Aurora Purple and Jet Black, is on sale now and is priced at $499 from JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, The Good Guys and MobileCiti.
