Nintendo fans – the ones that aren’t out playing Pokemon Go – will be able to relive their favourite childhood games with the Classic Mini when it is launched later this year.
The Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is a smaller replica of the company’s original home console that introduced a generation to such classic games as Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong and the Legend of Zelda.
It will be launched on November 10 for $99.95.
The unit can be plugged directly into a high definition TV using the included HDMI cable so you can play the 30 NES games that are built into the system.
Also included is a USB cable to power the system and a Nintendo Classic Mini: NES controller. But an AC adaptor – like the one included with your smartphone – is not included.
And if you want to play with a friends you can buy an extra controller separately for $19.95. You can also use the Classic Controller or Classic Controller Pro from the Wii console as well.
