JBL’s new Cove speakers can be linked to form a whole-home audio system

JBL has launched a new range of speakers called JBL Cove which can be combined to form a whole-home Wi-Fi audio system to produce a high-quality multi-room listening experience.

There are three wireless speakers in the range that can operate on their own as stereo pairs or as part of a connected home audio system, which can be controlled through the JBL One app.

JBL Cove brings the iconic JBL room-filling sound, along with Dolby Atmos support on some models and flexible listening room by room without the need to regroup or reset the speakers.

It’s really easy to transform your space and create an immersive listening experience with the new JBL Cove series.

Included in the series are:

– JBL Cove M1 ($299) – compact design for effortless everyday listening

– JBL Cove P1 ($599) – portable with battery-powered convenience and immersive Dolby Atmos sound

– JBL Cove X1 ($649) – flagship performance featuring four tweeters and dual woofers for powerful room-filling audio with Dolby Atmos

Users can place the speakers in any room and JBL will do the rest.

The proprietary Constant Sound Field can be used to allow the speakers to self-tune to your room while AI Sound Boost can optimise performance based on where they are placed and how you listen.

To set up a home system with JBL Cove, customers just need to create a group on the JBL One app.

And from here it’s easy to control the speaker you want to listen to, whether you want to group them together or play them individually.

The Cove speakers also work with JBL Bar Series MK2 soundbars, which makes it easy to expand from music listening to creating an immersive home theatre experience.

Users can add the JBL Cove speakers as rear channels through the JBL One app to create a Dolby Atmos home theatre setup.

And you can take your music, playlist or TV audio with you.

Just press and hold the Moment button and your audio moves with you without needing to get out your phone or open the app.

JBL Cove M1 is priced at $299.00, JBL Cove P1 is $599.00, and JBL Cove X1 costs $649.00.
