Tech Guide had the opportunity to check out all the new offerings from ECOVACS ROBOTICS which were on display at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas including a pool cleaner, a next generation lawn mower and a robot dog.
We know ECOVACS well through its robot vacuums but in Las Vegas we saw the latest versions Including the T-90 Pro Omni and the DEEBOT X12 Pro Omni cyclone.
What these had in common was the new OZMO Roller 3.0 which is now 26cm long – that’s 50 per cent longer than the previous generation.
When comparing the old with the new side by side there was a remarkable difference.
Now with the ability to cover more floor area with each pass it means it can increase its cleaning efficiency and quality.
The T90 also packs in pressurised self-washing through 16 nozzles to remove any embedded dirt on the roller to ensure a streak free finish.
The X12 now has an infrared stain detector that can activate twin high pressure nozzles to help get rid of stubborn stains.
ECOVACS has taken its technology that it has been perfected over more than two decades from the inside to the outside.
ULTRAMARINE brings the ECOVACS innovation to your pool to take over maintenance and cleaning and give you back hours of time.
It has the same cleaning efficiency and obstacle avoidance to thoroughly clean pools of any size and shape.
ECOVACS has improved an existing product, the GOAT robotic lawn mower and added an edge trimmer so it can do the complete job in your yard.
Previously users had to go in after the GOAT and trim the edges but that’s not an issue anymore thanks to the small edge trimmer on the right side of the product that can now complete the job.
ECOVACS has also released the WINBOT W3 Omni which now includes a multifunction station that looks like a tiny washing machine.
This allows users to thoroughly clean the pads between cleans of your windows, pool fences and shower screens.
For one of the real surprises on the ECOVACS stand was a robotic dog named LilMilo.
This is a little robotic pet companion which looks, feels and sounds like a real dog.
When we held it in your arms, we could actually feel the warmth just like a real dog.
And little Milo can react to our touch.
We gave it a few scratches and pats and it immediately made eye contact and started making sounds.
We were already starting to bond.
There is no confirmation if LilMilo will be available in Australia but based on the few minutes we spent with the little robot dog, we think it will be a popular product.
