The new Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max cordless robotic pool cleaner can give you back hours of your time – it can clean your pool better than you can.
It cleans the pool floor and the walls as well and can even skim the surface for leaves.
It is a set and forget device – you simply turn it on – choose from seven cleaning modes (in our case it was Hero – which cleans the floors, wall and surface) and then put it in the pool.
The Scuba X1 Pro Max then fills up with water – sinks to the bottom and gets to work.
Under the hood there are dual aviation-inspire jets and nine motors so it easily powers through the dirt and debris and sends it all to the onboard collection basket.
Set up takes minutes when you bind the device to the Aiper app.
And you need to fill in some details about your pool size and shape.
Most of the controls are on the device itself so you don’t even need to open the app to get started.
The Scuba X1 Pro Max can quickly find its way around.
It uses its onboard sensors to map your pool no matter the size and shape.
The robot then works out an efficient cleaning path and starts cleaning wall to wall right up to the waterline.
It uses 360-degree scanning and mapping to detect every shape and section of the pool and make sure it leaves nothing behind.
There are two removable filters – one for the heavier debris like leaves, twigs, stones and hair and another finer filter for particles, dirt, dust, sand and algae.
Once the cleaning is completed the Scuba X1 Pro Max expels all the water and floats back to the surface to easier retrieval.
And you’ll get a notification through the Aiper app to let you know the cleaning is done.
A small hook, which can connect to your pool pole, is included with the robot to make it easier to fish out of the pool if it isn’t near the edge.
The rechargeable onboard battery can run for more than five hours in Eco mode but even in Hero mode there is enough battery life to get the job done on a single charge.
The Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max has a wireless charging system.
Included with the unit is a charging stand so you rest the unit on top to start the charging process.
It sits on the stand at an angle – this helps drain out any remaining water.
This also means you’re not plugging a charger into port that would require a removable flap – this was the case with the previous model.
But now the robot just needs to rest in the charging stand’s contacts.
The Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max can literally save you hours of time but’s it an investment even at the current discounted price of $2,699 (usually $3,499).
But if you truly value your time and consider your time cleaning your pole as a chore then the Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max will pay itself off quickly.
It is a truly set and forget solution that does an amazing job keeping your pool sparkling clean.
