Go big or go home – that will be the Hisense mantra in 2019 after the company announced it will launch the huge a 100-inch 4K Ultra High Definition Smart Dual Colour television in Australia.

The Hisense 100-inch 4K Series L TV is actually a short throw projector that can beam the image from a distance of just 19cm from the wall.

The unit itself can be positioned on top of an entertainment unit. It is 1/10 of the weight of a comparably-sized LED TV.

The Series L television combines a Laser Engine, developed by Hisense along with its proprietary X-Fusion light source technology, to create an all-new viewing experience.

X-Fusion expands the colour gamut to deliver sharper images while at the same time avoiding unwanted light dispersion resulting in impressive clarity and colour saturation.

“More and more of our Australian customers are demanding larger-than-life televisions and we’re thrilled to announce the addition of a show stopping 100-inch TV to our line up in 2019,” said Andre Iannuzzi, Head of Marketing at Hisense Australia.

“This big and bold TV is yet another example of our commitment to bringing Australian consumers more choice at the premium end of the market.

“Globally, Hisense has invested heavily in the research and development of its proprietary laser technology, and the result is a truly innovative and exceptional TV, that provides an unparalleled at-home cinema experience.”

The Hisense 4K 100-inch Smart Dual Colour Laser TV can display more than 8 million pixels on the included 100-inch wall-mountable screen as well as support for HDR10 to create a stunning picture with remarkable depth.

The screen has an anti-reflective coating and is optimised for watching in any lighting conditions – day or night.

It can also render images faster using its MEMC technology which has a microsecond processor response time to deliver a superfast motion rate.

And for those fast action scenes and for watching sport, the Hisense Smooth Motion Plus technology provides super smooth and clear images.

Also on board are 14 speakers with award-winning dbx-tv technology as well as a wireless subwoofer powered by JBL Cinema Sound.

There is also a built-in TV tuner to enjoy all your free to air channels along with access to streaming services like Netflix and Stan.

Australian customers who buy the Series L Hisense 4K 100-inch Smart Dual Colour Laser TV will enjoy a white glove service which will include delivery and installation.

The Hisense 4K 100-inch Smart Dual Colour Laser TV can be used in a variety of home theatre set-ups with a viewing distance of just four metres so you enjoy that big screen experience.

Pricing and a release date will be confirmed by Hisense in the first half of 2019.
