Samsung unveils premium 75-inch Series 9 LED Smart TV
Samsung has released its biggest and best smart TV ever – the 75-inch Series 9 LED – onto the Australian market which is demanding larger screen sizes.
The stunning Series 9 ES9000 is wrapped in a thin rose-gold frame and is still remarkably thin for such a large television.
The bezel is just 7.9mm wide and disappears into the background when the full high definition screen comes to life.
Picture quality is enhanced by Samsung’s micro dimming technology which divides the screen onto more than 500 segments and optimises contrast and clarity.
Another new feature aboard the new 75-inch (190.5cm) Series 9 is Sound Share which can wirelessly connect the TV to Samsung Series 6 and Series 7 wireless audio dock systems via Bluetooth for an enhanced audio experience.
Samsung’s attractive Series 9 sits on a metallic square stand and even has a hideaway high definition camera and dual microphone that retracts out of sight into the top edge of the TV to maintain the panel’s clean design.
The camera and microphone power many of the smart interactions on board include gesture and voice control and face recognition.
And being a connected smart TV, the Samsung Series 9 also offers access to content and a host of apps.
These apps include Foxtel on Internet TV to watch up to 30 live streaming subscription channels and Quickflix which provides access to hundreds of movies and TV shows.
You can even play the popular game Angry Birds like never before using gesture control on the 75-inch screen.
The Samsung Series 9 ES9000 75-inch smart TV is a premium product aimed at the top end of town and is priced at $9,499. It will be available in stores in the coming weeks.
