LG to showcase world’s largest curved OLED TV at CES

lgcescurvedoledLG unveiled another new smart TV that will be showcased at the International Consumer Electronics Show – the stunning 77-inch 4K Curved OLED TV.

This product, the world’s largest curved OLED TV, combines several of the latest TV technologies in one place for a truly head-turning result.

Firstly there’s the 4K or ultra high definition resolution that has four times as many pixels as a regular full high definition television which provides an all-new level of sharpness and clarity.

Second – it’s OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) – a self-illuminating material which means a backlight is not required. The result is a remarkably thin display.

Lastly, there’s the gentle curve of the LG screen that’s designed to immerse the viewer even further into the action.

To top it off, the 77-inch display offers a dazzling big screen experience.

Also under the hood of LG’s 77EC9800 is the Tru-ULTRA HD Engine Pro system that upscales content to near 4K quality.

And the screen is resting on a leaf-shaped stand to complete the whole elegant design.

Pricing and availability has yet to be announced but, with the calibre of features on board and the huge 77-inch OLED screen, it won’t be cheap.
