LG TVs can now run the Xbox app and allow users to stream and play the latest and greatest Xbox games via the cloud.
The LG Xbox cloud gaming experience is still in its beta phase and will be available in 26 countries including Australia.
It will include some of the biggest titles that will now be available directly through the Xbox app on compatible LG smart TVs.
The Xbox app will be accessible from the Gaming Portal and will allow LG TV owners to play games from day one if they have the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which offers access to massive titles from Activision, Bethesda, Blizzard, Mojang, Xbox Game Studios and many more.
The Xbox app is available on LG smart TVs as well as selected smart monitors running webOS 24 and later and will also soon become available on StanbyME displays.
With the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Membership users can play games like Call of Duty Black Ops 6, Avowed, South of Midnight, NBA2K25, Hogwarts Legacy and have access to eagerly awaited releases like Towerborne.
The Xbox app will be available on LG’s OLED TVs and its latest QNED TVs and will offer smooth gameplay upscaled to 4K for an even more immersive experience.
The Xbox app will be available on LG smart OLED and QNED TVs from 2022 and later which are running software version 23.20.01 or higher.
