Stan, the subscription video on demand service and joint venture between Channel Nine and Fairfax Media, is now available to view directly through Apple TV.
Stan was originally offered as an app on mobile devices and available on your computer’s web browser while still allowing viewers to stream the content to your TV.
But now, with the addition of the app on Apple TV, it is even easier to access your favourite programs and movies on Stan on your television.
“Apple TV is a critical platform for leading streaming services and has always been a high priority in our development roadmap,” Mike Sneesby, Stan’s CEO, said.
“Since launch we have received more requests from subscribers for a Stan app to be available on Apple TV than any other device.”
Stan’s first-run exclusive programs include Better Call Saul, Transparent, Dig and Community.
Viewers can also binge-watch full seasons of hit TV shows like Breaking Bad and Fargo as well as recent release movies including Edge of Tomorrow, classic Australian films or documentaries.
Stan can also keep the kids entertained with hit shows like Adventure Time, Octonauts and Dora the Explorer.
Stan is priced at $10 a month which allows for up to three streams in high definition on smartphones, tablets, PCs and TV.
