Virgin Mobile’s Sweet Gig offer adds extra 1GB of data

virginthumb2Virgin Mobile has announced a “Sweet Gig” offer with a free 1GB of extra data for every month of their 24 month plan with a Samsung smartphone.

The offer is available until November 30 and can be applied to plans that are priced as low as $29 a month with a $5 handset for the Samsung Galaxy S II.

The Virgin Mobile Big Plan 29 comes with $450 of credit and 250MB of data but, with the Sweet Gig offer, that data allowance becomes 1.25GB.

On the Virgin Mobile Big Plan 59, customers can choose the Samsung Galaxy S III for $0 upfront for $59 a month for 24 months which includes $700 credit and 3GB of data which becomes 4GB a month thanks to the Sweet Gig offer.

For a $7 monthly payment with the Big Plan 59, customers can opt for the new Samsung Galaxy S III 4G with the same $700 credit and a total of 4GB of data which includes the original 3GB data and the bonus 1GB from the Sweet Gig offer

This offer is only available on Virgin Mobile post paid plans only with a Samsung handset. Virgin Mobile uses the Optus network.
