Oppo’s new Find N2 Flip smartphone is coming to Australia with pre-orders for the new foldable device commencing on March 2 ahead of a March 16 launch date. It will be priced at $1,499 and available in Astral Black and Moonlight Purple.
The new Oppo Find N2 Flip is seen as a direct opponent to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 which has a similar form factor.
The Find N2 Flip has a 6.8-inch main display and a front 3.26-inch screen which is the largest front display on and flip phone.
The vertical orientation of the front display along with its size makes an even more useful for displaying up to six notifications at a time, being able to reply to messages, adjust settings and make and answer calls.

The device has polished aluminium sides and a fingerprint-resistant glass cover with a unique micro-etched wave pattern.
It has a 6.8-inch OLED foldable screen with an improved hinge mechanism, so the device unfolds with a less visible crease.
The Flexion Hinge is made from aircraft-grade high-strength steel and polymer to keep it thin but still strong and sturdy.
When unfolded users will hardly be able to feel the crease on the display.
The device has been through rigorous testing and has been independently certified with handle more than 400,000 folds and unfolds – that’s the equivalent of opening and closing the phone more than 100 times a day for 10 years.
On the camera side, the Find N2 Flip has a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel wide angle camera along with a 32-megapixel front camera.
The main 50-megapixel camera includes the large Sony IMX890 sensor with an f/1.8 lens.
Oppo has once again partnered with legendary camera manufacturer Hasselblad to deliver an impressive imaging experience.
The device can capture pro-grade colours and includes a Professional Mode so you can really take control of your images.
It can also capture crisp 4K video even in low light with the ability to hold the phone part-folded like a traditional camcorder for even steadier grip.
Under the hood is a fast-charging 4,200mAh battery – the largest capacity battery on a flip phone – to ensure all day battery life.
And with support for 44W SUPERVOOC PD (power delivery) fast charging, when it’s time to charge you can go from zero to 50 per cent charge in just 23 minutes and 100 per cent in less than an hour.
The device is running Oppo’s ColorOS13 operating system offers a fast and easy way to navigate the features and your content and has been optimised for the new folding form factor.
The Oppo Find N2 Flip will be priced at $1,499 and available in Astral Black and Moonlight Purple. It is available to pre-order from the March 2, 2023, from JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman.
