htctitanmain2Australia’s first 4G Windows Phone – the feature-packed HTC Titan 4G – will be available to customers through Telstra stores on May 29.

The Titan is running Windows Phone 7.5 operating system and is powered by a 1.5Ghz processor.

The device has a 4.7-inch WVGA super LCD capacitive touchscreen and 16 megapixel camera with a dedicated button, auto focus and dual LED flash.

And being compatible with Telstra 4G network means the device can access the internet, download and upload data at high speeds (up to 40Mbps download and 10Mbps upload) within the network’s growing footprint.

The device also features HSPA+ dual channel technology which can also achieve faster speeds on Telstra’s 3G network up to 20Mbps in capital city CBD and other regional centres.

Access to the faster 4G network will allow business users to send and receive larger emails, capture and share larger sized pictures and longer videos and access cloud-hosted services directly from the device.
