Foxtel Go app now available for Samsung Android devices, PC and Mac
The Foxtel Go app that allows users to enjoy their pay TV service on the go is now available on Samsung Android devices and for the PC and Mac.
And Foxtel has also increased the number of devices the app can be registered to from two to three.
The Foxtel Go app brings 59 live channels and more than 50 channels of on-demand and catch-up content so you can enjoy your service anywhere.
The addition of the Foxtel Go access to Samsung’s Android devices and PC and Mac joins Apple devices like the iPad, iPad Mini and iPhone.
“We’re really pleased with the response we’ve had since Foxtel Go launched late last year,” said Jim Rudder, Foxtel executive director of product.
“Through our innovation, Foxtel continues to add value for our subscribers and the increase in the number and type of devices consumers can use to access it goes a long way towards delivering on our promise to help even more customers enjoy Foxtel in the home or on the move.”
Foxtel Go will work on Samsung devices the Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Note 10.1 running Android 4.1 and higher.
The app will run on Windows computers running XP Service Pack 2 and Internet Explorer 8 or higher.
On a Mac users will need OS X Snow Leopard and later and an iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch fifth generation running iOS 5 and above.
The service will only be available in Australia and only for subscribers with a Foxtel set-top box.
