An all-new Tech Arena will be part of the latest exhibition space unveiled when the 2014 Royal Easter Show which opens in Sydney this week.
The space will feature a demonstration stage that will be hosted by Tech Guide editor Stephen Fenech from April 10 through to April 23.
He will give four “Let’s Talk Tech” sessions per day and will run everyday at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm.
Each talk will be interactive so people can link to the show using the Tech Arena Theatre’s own wi-fi network and take part in live questions and polls and view the presentation slides on their smartphone.
Here is the presentation schedule:
10am everyday – Tech Arena Theatre (Hall 3) – The Shape of Things to Come
Insights on innovations including curved TVs, 4K and Ultra High Definition TVs, wearable technology and smart home automation using our home wi-fi networks.
12pm everyday – Tech Arena Theatre (Hall 3) – Smartphone
A short history of the device that has re-defined our lives plus a fun section on the five things you didn’t realise your smartphone can do including starting a car and blowing out a candle.
2pm everyday – Tech Arena Theatre (Hall 3) – Tech Tips and Tricks
Learn cool tips and tricks and find hidden features that will help you get the most out of your devices.
4pm everyday – Tech Arena Theatre (Hall 3) – The Farm of the 21st Century
Showcasing the Farm of the 21st Century including high-tech machinery and drones and how farmers have embraced innovation to increase efficiency and output.
The Tech Arena is located next to the Showbag Pavilion.
