Quickflix, the popular movie rental and streaming service, is adding yet another way to watch movies and TV shows – on your iPhone and iPad.
The free Quickflix app is now available on the iTunes App Store and will allow subscribers to watch unlimited movies and TV shows on demand on their iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
Users will be able to access the latest blockbusters from studios like Warner Bros, Sony, NBC Universal, MGM, HBO along with the BBC and ITV.
Even non-subscribers can enjoy the free Quickflix app which provides access to movie trailers and the latest Hollywood news and gossip.
“We are extremely excited to extend our instant streaming service to iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch giving our customers even more ways to view their favourite movies and TV shows, whenever they want and wherever they are,” said Quickflix founder and executive chairman Stephen Langsford and CEO Chris Taylor in a joint statement.
“We are committed to being at the forefront of consumers’ evolving entertainment needs for choice and access,”
There are several subscription models which can be accessed through Quickflix.com.au.
Menbers can choose between a streaming service or a rental service.
The streaming service is priced at just $14.99 a month and allows unlimited movie and TV show streaming.
This service is accessible on connected devices like smart TV, gaming consoles and computers. The iPhone and iPad are the latest additions.
The latest movies are also available on a pay-per-view basis with films priced at $5.99 with 48 hours to watch it.
There also mail-out services for those who want to receive DVDs and Blu-ray Discs.
