Netgear has released its latest high performance Wi-Fi 7 device – the new Nighthawk M7 Ultra Mobile Hotspot (MR7500) to provide high speed connectivity on the go.
The Nighthawk M7 Ultra Mobile Hotspot leverages 30 years of Netgear’s network expertise.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SDX75 chipset and runs on the Telstra mobile network.
The Nighthawk M7 Ultra Mobile Hotspot brings together Wi-Fi 7 and 5G technology in one product to offer faster speeds, better wi-fi coverage than ever before and lower latency.
The M7 Ultra is capable theoretically of achieving up to 10Gbps on Telstra’s 5G network.
And with triband Wi-Fi 7 and dual band concurrent operation onboard it means aggregated Wi-Fi speeds of up to 5.8Gbps.
“We’re raising the bar once again by packing secure, cutting-edge performance, based on our decades of experience, into an elegant pocket-sized package with the M7 Ultra,” said David Henry, President & GM of Connected Home Products and Services at Netgear.
“We’re proud to partner once again with Telstra to deliver an unparalleled solution for anyone who needs blazing fast, reliable wi-fi on the go.”
The Nighthawk M7 Ultra Mobile Hotspot supports 5G Sub-6 along with mmWave to offer even more connectivity and higher speeds where it’s available.
The M7 Ultra also offers not only a portable wi-fi connection but also privacy as well.
There is an onboard firewall that can protect up to 64 connected devices.
The device has a 2.8-inch touchscreen display and a removable 5185mAh lithium ion battery which runs for up to 10 hours on a full charge.
“We’re thrilled to introduce the Netgear Nighthawk M7 Ultra to our Telstra mobile broadband range,” says Deon Liebenberg, Executive Strategic Partnerships, Innovation and Devices from Telstra.
“This mobile hotspot features the latest 5G with mmWave and Wi-Fi 7 technology available on the market making it a great pairing with Telstra’s mobile network offering Australia’s largest 5G coverage plus mmWave 5G in selected locations within the CBDs of major cities.
“This device is designed to meet the needs of today’s fast-paced, connected world, offering Customers the speed and convenience they need.”
The Nighthawk M7 Ultra Mobile Hotspot (MR7500) is available now from Telstra and is priced at $949.
