Facebook has begun a trial that will allow businesses to deliver relevant ads to users in their news feed based on their browsing interests.
Facebook Exchange, introduced last year, made it possible for advertisers and agencies to have their targeted ads on the right side of the site on the desktop.
The trial will introduce ads in the news feed – described by Facebook as the most engaging place on the web.

The news feed ad will look just like any other Facebook post from your friends and will have a short status along with a link.
Facebook insists this new system will not increase the number of ads users will see on the site but rather more relevant ads that appeal to the user’s interests.
