ebaylogoeBay has launched Bubs’ Corner – a new section of the online shopping site to help busy mums and dads shop for baby essentials.

Research from eBay shows that more than 70 per cent of new parents who woke up during the night to look after their new-born would often use this time to do their online shopping.

More than 90 per cent of parents who shop online do so when the rest of the country is asleep with nappies, wipes and formula at the top of the list.

The new Bubs’ Corner will allow the more than 1.1 million Australian mothers – 78 per cent of these are already eBay members – who are buying essential products for their babies to find these products in one convenient place.

eBay Bubs’ Corner members will receive regular discounts, rewards and special offers.

As an added bonus, anyone who signs up to the new Bubs’ Corner will received a $15 bonus to spend on nappies and formula.

“New parents have told us that every waking moment needs to be instantly shoppable,” says Head of Strategy and Customer Programs eBay Australia, Jo Hicks.

“What we have aimed to do with Bubs’ Corner is to create an experience that gives time back to new parents.
