Panasonic has transformed and miniaturised the grooming experience with a new 5-blade shaver that’s small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.
Over the years Panasonic has produced an impressive lineup of shavers, and it has now taken that technology and shoehorned it into a surprisingly small package.
The ES-PV6 and ES-PV3 have a luxurious finish and a unique minimal Japanese design.
And, despite its small size, it can still offer a fast and close shave.
Panasonic has managed to create a premium yet small product by placing the linear motor in the shaver head.
This takes away the need for a shaver handle and clears the way to create a smaller curved shape that feels good in your hand and easy to manoeuvre.
Being so small, the PV6 and PV3 are ideal travel companions and come in a handy portable protective case. They can be charged through the USB-C port
The effortless shaving experience is courtesy of the five Japanese stainless steel blades which are performing 70,000 cutting actions per minute.
Also onboard is a responsive beard sensor that reacts 233 times per second so it can adapt the power depending on the contours of your face and stubble thickness.
It can even boost the power instantly where the beard growth is heavier and pull it back in sparse areas to prevent skin irritation.
The linear motor maintains its speed even when taking care of thicker beards and when the charge is running low.
The five advanced blades and foils are made of stainless steel crafted with Japanese samurai sword making precision and nano-sharpened to 30-degrees.
This means cuts can be made as close to the root as possible, so you end up with a smooth irritation free shave whether it’s wet or dry.
And of course the Panasonic PV6 and PV3 shavers have an IPX7 rating so it is waterproof and can be used dry or wet with gel or foam and even in the shower.
The PV6 is available in marble white and is crafted from Nagori material, which is a composite of ocean minerals, so each shaver has a one of a kind pattern.
The PV3 comes in matte black.

The Panasonic are available exclusively at Shaver Shop stores and are priced at $799 (PV6) and $699 (PV3).
