ipadminiretina6Apple’s new iPad Mini with Retina Display, which now has the same number of pixels and screen resolution as the iPad Air, is available to purchase from today.

The popular iPad Mini has a 7.9-inch screen and has been upgraded to include the faster A7 64-bit processor along with the dazzling high-resolution display.

The device still retains it thin and light design at just 7.5mm thick and weighing just 331g.

Now with a screen resolution of 2048 x 1536 and 326ppi (pixels per inch), the iPad Mini with Retina Display will allow users to view their web pages, documents, images, videos and apps in even more detail.

Also on board the iPad Mini is the new iOS 7 operating system while Apple’s own apps like iPhoto, Pages, Numbers, iMovie, Keynote and GarageBand are now free to download from the App Store.

The iPad Mini with Retina Display is available in silver or space grey and is offered in wi-fi only and wi-fi + cellular models.


They are priced at $479 (16GB wi-fi), $598 (32GB wi-fi), $699 (64GB wi-fi) $799 (128GB wi-fi), $629 (16GB wi-fi + cellular), $749 (32GB wi-fi + cellular), $849 (64GB wi-fi + cellular), $949 (128GB wi-fi + cellular).

The original iPad Mini is also still available for $349 (16GB wi-fi) and $499 (16GB wi-fi + cellular).
