Segway Ninebot launches new range of e-motorbikes for urban commuters

Leading micro mobility manufacturer Segway Ninebot has made the transition to electric motorbikes with its new lineup made up of three models – the E300SE, the E125 S and the E110S.

These new e-motorbikes integrate state of the art motor design and safety features which include smart battery management.

They also include the latest in smart connectivity with integration with the Segway Ninebot app.

“Today marks an exciting new chapter for Segway-Ninebot Australia as we announce our range of e-Motorbikes,” Gino Casha, Head of Segway-Ninebot Australia said.

“We’re thrilled to be launching into the Australian electric vehicle category by introducing a range of sleek, stylish and innovative e-Motorbike’s that will make commuting easier, economical and more enjoyable. Segway-Ninebot has been a leader in transportation for many years, our team has taken their expertise in this field to deliver a premium quality e-Motorbike experience. We can’t wait to see the positive impact they will have on people’s daily lives.”

Segway Ninebot ES300SE

SEGWAY E300S – $8,990

The E300SE e-motorbike offers a smooth riding experience and is ideal for commuters in all urban areas.

It has a 10kW power motor and can reach a maximum speed of 105km/h with acceleration from 0 to 50km/h in 2.9s and a range of up to 130km.

One of the smart functions is the ability to turn the E300SE on and off lock and unlock track and analyse performance through the Segway Ninebot app.

It comes with two 2000WH removable batteries and can support an additional third battery to increase the range by up to 50 per cent.

Charge time is 4.5 hours to 80 per cent and 5.5 hours to 100 per cent.

On the safety side, it has dual channel ABS and EABS (electronic assisted braking system) to offer superior grip under heavy and emergency breaking.

Also onboard is cruise control, hill hold control slope park, assist pushing and one touch reverse.

Segway Ninebot E110S

SEGWAY E125S ($6,990), SEGWAY E110S ($4,990)

The E125S and E110S are designed for urban travel.

The E125 S has a dual removable battery and a 3.5kW power motor with a maximum speed of 45km/h and a range of 108km.

The E110S has a single removable battery with the 1.8kW power motor and a range of 57km.

Segway Ninebot E125S

Charge time for the E125 S is 2.4 hours to 80 per cent and four hours to 100 per cent while the E110S charge time is 3 hours to 80 per cent in four hours to 100 per cent.

Each offers a comfortable ride with extra-large and extended seat cushions which can accommodate two people and includes a large storage seat bucket.

Each has dual channel breaking combined with EAB S (electronic assisted braking system) and smart connectivity features which are accessible through the Segway Ninebot app.

Riders can access real time information including GPS positioning, the remaining range and can use the app as a key to start their ride.

Segway Ninebot E125S

– The single removable battery, E110S is equipped with a 1.8kW power motor with a range of 57km.
