Apple has today launched a brand new iPod Touch along with a refreshed line-up of iPod models that now come in a range of new colours including space grey, silver, gold, pink and blue.
The iPod category is still going strong for Apple and these latest products now offer even more choice and more power.
The new iPod Touch has a 4-inch Retina display and now features an 8-megapixel iSight camera as well as a FaceTime HD camera for even higher quality selfies and video calls.
It also comes with Apple’s fastest processor – the A8 (the same chip used in the iPhone 6) to offer even better graphics performance for gaming and better fitness tracking with the M8 motion co-processor.
iPod Touch comes preloaded with iOS 8 and includes apps like Messages so you can send unlimited free messages over wi-fi and Apple Music which puts the iTunes library at your fingertips.
And with access to the App Store, iPod Touch users also have access to more than 1.5 million apps including games and social media favourites like Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
The new iPod Touch is priced at $279 (16GB), $349 (32GB), $419 (64GB) and $579 (128GB) and is available in silver, gold, space grey, pink, blue, and red.
The iPod Nano has 16GB capacity is priced at $219. The device has a 2.5-inch display and Bluetooth 4.0 so you can wirelessly connect your earphones.
iPod Shuffle, priced at $75, has a 2GB capacity and can clip to your clothing while you’re listening to tour music.
The iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle are also available in silver, gold, space grey, pink, blue, and red.
