Sony Bravia TVs will now include the Kayo Sports app

Sports lovers who own a Sony Bravia TV, or are thinking of buying one, will be pleased to hear that it will include the Kayo Sports app to so they can enjoy live streaming of more than 50 sports on the service.

Kayo Sports, what people are calling the Netflix of sport, will be available on the Sony Bravia TVs which run the Android operating system.

That means Sony TVs purchased as far back as 2015 will be able to download the Kayo Sports app on their TV and log in with their details to enjoy live sport streamed from all corners of the globe including rugby league, AFL, cricket, rugby union, cricket and motorsports as well as NBA, NFL, football, golf and tennis.

Soon Kayo Sports viewers will be able to watch the ICC Cricket World Cup which kicks off later this week as well.

“We are thrilled to be offering Kayo Sports as a featured app on all Sony Bravia Android TVs,” said Aki Hosoda, head of TV, Sony ANZ.

“Providing our customers with a premium experience is key and by making this streaming app easily accessible, they can access a huge variety of sports content in addition to a whole range of entertainment apps offered on our Android TVs.

“The timing also couldn’t be better with the Cricket World Cup starting at the end of May.”
